The Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. Disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Taranis Minerals reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time and without warning. Any such changes will take effect immediately from the time they are displayed on the website. It is your responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions each time you visit this website.

The copyright and intellectual property rights for all information, images, logos and other content on this website belong to Taranis Minerals. All rights are reserved. No information or images contained in the website may be reproduced, linked to other websites or used for commercial purposes unless permission is explicitly granted in writing by Taranis Minerals.

Where permission has been granted by Taranis Minerals for the use of photographs, a legible acknowledgment to Taranis Minerals must be given wherever and whenever the photographs are displayed.

Specimens for Sale
All minerals available for sale on this website are owned by Taranis Minerals and priced in GBP £.

Taranis Minerals reserves the right to refuse the sale of any item, even after an order has been placed.

Minerals are sold on the understanding that the customer is aware of the potential hazards that may be associated with them and appropriate precautions that must be taken for handling and storage. Such hazards may include toxicity due to heavy metals, radioactivity and harmful dust. Taranis Minerals is not responsible for the provision of health and safety information or advice.

Taranis Minerals makes every reasonable effort to represent specimens for sale accurately on this website. However, the colours in photographs displayed on your monitor may not appear the same as the true colour of the specimen, please refer to the 'Photo Info' section on the website for further information. Please also note that photographs are not to scale and the size of the specimen is stated in the description.

Placing Orders
You must be aged 18 or over to place an order with Taranis Minerals.

Orders must be placed in writing, either by completing the online order form, by sending and email, by fax or by post.

Upon receiving an order, Taranis Minerals will usually send an invoice by email within 3 working days. The invoice will state the total amount payable including postage and packaging. If at any time Taranis Minerals is not able to respond to orders in this timeframe, a notice will be placed on the homepage informing customers that there is a delay in processing orders and the date that normal services will resume.

If the customer is not able to receive an invoice by email, the invoice will be sent by fax or by post as instructed by the customer.

Once an invoice has been sent, specimens will be reserved for a maximum of 7 days to allow the customer to arrange payment. If payment is not received within this time period the specimen will be made available for sale again.

If you would like an estimate of the postage and packaging costs before placing an order, please contact Taranis Minerals giving the catalogue number(s)of the specimen(s) of interest and your delivery address.

Payment
All orders must be paid in full prior to the dispatch of specimens.

The following payment methods can be accepted (payment in GBP £ only):

Credit or Debit card via Paypal (a Paypal account is not required)as follows:

Payment for orders is not accepted directly through this website and no payment related information is retained by Taranis Minerals.

Postage and Packaging
Specimens will usually be dispatched within 3 working days after payment has been received in full. If at any time Taranis Minerals is not able to respond to orders in this timeframe, a notice will be placed on the homepage informing customers of the delay and the date that normal services will resume.

For postage to locations within the UK (excluding the Channel Islands), the standard service will be Royal Mail First Class Recorded. Typical delivery times for this service are 1 to 3 working days (as quoted by Royal Mail) but this is not guaranteed.

For postage to locations outside of the UK, the standard service will be Royal Mail International Signed For. Typical delivery times for this service are 3 to 5 working days (as quoted by Royal Mail) but this is not guaranteed.

Both of these services will require a signature upon delivery.

All orders will be insured to the full amount of the specimens where possible. If this is not possible, the customer will be informed prior to sample dispatch.

Alternative methods of posting such as guaranteed next day and courier services may be available on request from the customer. The additional costs associated with these services will be payable by the customer.

For orders of less than £200, postage and packaging will be charged to the customer at cost. The cost of packaging and delivery will be calculated after you place the order and included in the invoice.

For orders totaling more than £200, postage and packaging using the standard methods described above is free of charge.

Taranis Minerals is not responsible for delays or problems incurred with the delivery service.

Returns Policy
Taranis Minerals makes every reasonable effort to represent specimens accurately on the website. However, if after receiving your specimen it does not meet your expectations you may return the specimen to Taranis Minerals and receive a full refund of the cost of specimen and initial postage cost, subject to the following terms and conditions:

You must inform Taranis Minerals in writing of your wish to return the specimen within 14 days of receiving it. Upon receipt of your notification, Taranis Minerals will provide a returns address.

The specimen must be returned in the same condition and state as it was received.

The specimen must be returned in its original packaging, or if the packaging is damaged in a like-for-like replacement of the original packaging.

The specimen must be dispatched within 7 days of your giving notification that it is to be returned.

The specimen should be insured for the full value when posted. You will be financially responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during the return of the specimen. If the specimen has not been received by Taranis Minerals within 30 days of your notification of return, it will be considered lost in transit and a refund will not be given.

you are responsible for all postage costs incurred for returning the specimen to Taranis Minerals.

A full refund of the purchase price and initial postage and packaging will be provided by Taranis Minerals within 30 days of receiving the specimen back, providing the specimen has been returned in accordance with the terms and conditions set out above.

Damage in Transit
If the specimen is damaged when you receive it, please inform Taranis Minerals immediately in writing and provide a description of the damage incurred. If possible please also provide digital photos showing the damage incurred to both the specimen and packaging.

The damaged specimen (and any pieces that have broken off) and original packaging must be returned to Taranis Minerals in accordance with returns policy above and within 7 days of having received it.

A full refund of the purchase price and initial postage and packaging will be provided by Taranis Minerals within 30 days of the specimen being returned, providing the specimen has been returned in accordance with the terms and conditions set out above.
